Alpha Delta Phi wins the Gammies!

Posted in:Newson November 20th, 2010

Gamma Phi Beta held their first annual film festival on October 26th this
year. It was a hugely successful event raising over $1100 for Girl Guides
of Canada. Many fraternities and sororities submitted short videos and
packed the Norm Theatre at the SUB. There were some good laughs, awkward
moments, and lots of Girl Guide thin mints throughout the smoothly-run
evening. In the end, thanks to the hard work of Michael Yeung, Oliver
Thorne, and many others, the judges panel chose Alpha Delta Phi to walk
away with the grand prize of $100 which will be donated to Literacy BC.
Here’s the winning video, “Planet Greek:”
